Does anyone know the original Gaelic (and/or the modern Gaelic) lyrics to the hymn "Be Thou My Vision" and if so, the pronunciation to go with it? Thanks for your help.

B Thuse mo Shile

B thusa mo shile a R mhr na ndil
Lon Thusa mo bheatha, mo chadfa 's mo stuaim
B Thusa i m'aigne gach oche 's gach l
Im chodladh n im dhiseacht lon m le do gr

B Thusa mo threor i mbriathar is i mbeart
Fan Thusa go deo liom is coinnigh m ceart
Glac cram mar Athair is ist le mo ghu
Is tabhair domhsa it cna istigh i do chro

This is one version of it. There are quite a few versions of this song. I thought you might appreciate this much at least for now and I'll work on the phoenetics a wee bit later (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Many Thanks. I'll await the phonetics.

Hi, I'm a newbie. Just wanted to say that I'm eagerly awaiting the phonetics for this--it's my favorite hymn, and if I could sing it in Gaelic then I could just die happy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
