What exactly would we be paying for?
And this whole copyright thing - most of our tabs and lyrics are traditional, therefore, no legal action can be taken against you for them. Also, the songs that are not traditional are by artists like Clannad, who are very happy to have their lyrics posted here! Why is this being taken so seriously, we are safe after all! We can only be harmed if we don't have the copyright details of a song. This site does not have to close as long as songs written by Clannad are written " C. Brennan or which ever member wrote the song. I can find out very easyily who is the writer!

There are also two other translations. It depends on the tune you're using.

The other two are;

Walk, walk, walk oh love,
Swiftly Come to Me, Softly Move,
Walk to the Door and Away We'll Flee,
And Safe for I may my darling be.

or;

Come, Come, Come Oh Love,
Come to me calmly, come to me quietly,
Come to the door, and escape with me,
And that you will be my only love safe.

Roidsear provided the axact translation, which I'd preffer to use, but the two above are versions that a few Donegal band's have used. I preffer Clannad's though. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Dia Daoibh a Chairde! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Does anyone have the chords or notation for 'An tll' or 'Dhanainn Sgradh' by Clannad? I'd love to learn it on guitar and piano but havn't been able to find notation anywhere.

Go raibh maith agaibh,

Thanks very much! I've been looking all over for those chords, and just joined the forum today! It's already made me feel so happy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
