It is so very typically British of you to only see what you want to see and try and emphasize on what might try and make people think is important. She censored your remark about Thatcher! She was trying to give you the benefit of the doubt that you might have a clue about this being an Irish Republican website. Aye the choice of language- in some cases, Kenya, India etc you're quite correct, In others like Australia, Canada, New Zealand that language would be incorrect.

My point about imperialism is that, like you I acknowledge that it has brought much harm and some small good.

My view of the world situation is that the oppression of peoples and denial of democracy is wrong, whether in Ireland, Nicaragua, or Palestine. The view that the political struggle in Ireland is as one with the struggle against oppressors elsewhere is a strong one here in Scotland. It chimes with the views of Sinn Fein too.
